On Paathz, what you can see and do depends on the access you have been given by your organisation. This is deliberate — it keeps billing, hiring and sensitive data in the right hands. If you cannot see or do something, the most common reason is that your access level does not include it.
How access works
- Your organisation defines access groups — for example a group with full hiring access, a group that can interview and view only, and a group that handles billing.
- Each group is given a specific set of permissions.
- You are assigned to one or more groups, at one or more sites.
- Paathz checks your permissions before every action, so you only ever see what you are allowed to.
Typical kinds of access
- Full hiring access — post jobs, search candidates, manage the pipeline, message and rate.
- View / interview only — see candidates and take part in interviews, without full editing rights.
- Billing access — manage the subscription, payment and invoices at organisation level.
- Organisation administration — set up sites, manage the team, define access groups and edit the company profile.
“Why can't I see or do something?”
Work through these in order:
- Check whether the action is organisation-level (billing, sites, team, company profile). These need organisation-level access.
- Check whether you are assigned to the relevant site — you only see jobs and candidates at sites you belong to.
- Check your access level for that site with whoever administers your organisation.
- If you believe you should have access, ask your organisation administrator to adjust your groups.
| Good to know Paathz support cannot change your access level for you — that is controlled by your own organisation's administrators. Contact them first; if something appears broken rather than restricted, reach us at support@paathz.com |
