Paathz has four billing roles that scope what users can see and do — split along two axes: organization-wide vs site-specific, and view-only vs edit access.
Billing_Organization_View
- Sees billing data for the entire organization across all sites.
- Read-only — no actions allowed.
- Site selector is disabled (whole-org view only).
- Good for finance team members who need to see invoices and totals.
Billing_Organization_Edit
- Sees and acts on billing for the entire organization.
- Can add sites, purchase add-ons, pay invoices, reduce capacity, remove sites.
- Can change Restaurants flag, manage payment methods, cancel subscription.
- Site selector is disabled (whole-org view only).
- Good for org admins and account owners.
Billing_Site_View
- Sees billing data only for sites they've been explicitly granted access to.
- Read-only — no actions allowed.
- Sees per-site invoice portion, not whole-org totals.
- Good for site managers who need visibility but not control.
Billing_Site_Edit
- Acts on billing only for sites they've been explicitly granted access to.
- Can purchase and reduce extra job posts and hires for their assigned sites.
- Cannot add or remove sites, change payment methods, or cancel org-level subscriptions.
- Good for site managers handling their own hiring capacity day-to-day.
Granting roles
- Org admins assign roles in Team management.
- Roles are additive — a user can have org-level View plus site-level Edit for specific sites.
- All role changes are audit-logged.
| Good to know Site editors don't see organization-wide totals or other sites' data — they only see their own site's billing in context. This keeps site managers focused on their location without exposing organization-level commercial information. |
